Mediacorp has announced that a third instalment of its acclaimed Little Nyonya franchise is officially in development and has launched an open casting call to discover new talent for the highly anticipated production.

The broadcaster is inviting aspiring actors of all nationalities, aged between 18 and 35, to audition for leading and supporting roles. Selected candidates will receive professional training and mentorship tailored to their experience, with outstanding performers also being considered for future Mediacorp productions and talent contracts.

The new series, scheduled to premiere in 2028, will be led by executive producer Canter Chia and scriptwriter Ang Eng Tee, who were also behind the original *The Little Nyonya* (2008) and its successful sequel, Emerald Hill – The Little Nyonya Story. The initiative reflects Mediacorp’s continued investment in nurturing new talent while building on one of Singapore’s most iconic television franchises.
