JRTV and China Media Group to Strengthen Media Cooperation

13 Jul 2026

Jordan Radio and Television Corporation (JRTV) is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Media Group (CMG) to strengthen cooperation in broadcasting, media technology, and professional development.

The announcement followed a meeting between Jordan’s Ministry of Government Communication and representatives from CMG’s Middle East Regional Office, where both sides discussed expanding collaboration between the two public broadcasters. The planned partnership will focus on the exchange of expertise, technical knowledge, media content, and training opportunities to support the continued development of broadcasting capabilities.

The MoU is expected to promote closer cooperation in areas such as media innovation, production, and technology, while creating new opportunities for professional capacity building and knowledge-sharing between broadcasting professionals in Jordan and China.

The initiative reflects the shared commitment of JRTV and CMG to strengthening international media partnerships and fostering greater collaboration to support the continued advancement of public service broadcasting in both countries.
