Vietnam Television (VTV) has secured the official broadcast rights for the FIFA World Cup 2026, ensuring football fans across Vietnam will have access to live coverage of the world’s most watched sporting event.

The agreement allows VTV to broadcast matches across its television channels and digital platforms, bringing comprehensive tournament coverage to audiences nationwide. The FIFA World Cup 2026, which will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, is set to feature an expanded 48-team format for the first time in the competition’s history.

With the rights secured, VTV is expected to deliver extensive coverage throughout the tournament, including live matches, highlights, analysis programmes, and special features surrounding the event.
