The Voice of Vietnam (VOV), in collaboration with the Embassy of the Philippines in Vietnam, has launched an online competition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Philippines.

Running from 1–20 July 2026, the contest aims to strengthen public understanding of the Vietnam–Philippines Strategic Partnership while promoting friendship, cultural exchange, and closer people-to-people ties between the two countries. Participants can compete through an online quiz or submit original essays in written, audio, video, or TikTok formats, highlighting the enduring relationship between the two nations.

Open to Vietnamese and Filipino citizens residing anywhere in the world, the initiative encourages participants to explore the history and future of bilateral cooperation. Winners will receive prizes sponsored by the Embassy of the Philippines in Vietnam, including travel and accommodation packages to the Philippines.
