The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Legal Division is inviting nominations from Members for the 2026 ABU Intellectual Property & Legal Committee (IPLC) Awards, to be presented at the upcoming IPLC Meeting.

To encourage broader participation, entry requirements have been relaxed, providing Members with an opportunity to showcase impactful legal and policy work carried out over the past year.

The winner and runner-up will be presented with a certificate and trophy during the IPLC Meeting, scheduled for 22–23 July 2026.

Members are invited to submit an 800-word write-up outlining legal or policy initiatives undertaken within the last 12 months that support their mandate as a public service broadcaster or advance their commercial interests.

The deadline for submissions is 10 July 2026. Entries should be sent to ABU Legal Manager Dr Seemantani Sharma at seemantani@abu.org.my, with a copy to Ms Nur Shahida Abdullah.

Submissions will be evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising leading academics, legal professionals, and in-house counsel.
