Myanmar’s Union Minister for Information, U Htein Linn, conducted an inspection visit to Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) in Yangon, where he met with management and staff and reviewed the broadcaster’s production operations. During the visit, the minister observed a range of television and radio productions, including news programmes, cultural content, music rehearsals, and children’s programming.
Addressing MRTV personnel, the minister highlighted the broadcaster’s role in communicating government policies and public information while also providing educational, cultural, and entertainment content. He encouraged MRTV to continue strengthening its professional standards and further develop as a quality public media institution capable of serving audiences across the country.
The visit formed part of a broader inspection tour of state-owned media organisations and publishing facilities under the Ministry of Information, reflecting ongoing efforts to support media operations and public communication services in Myanmar.
