Voice of Vietnam Strengthens Partnership with France Médias Monde

4 Aug 2026

Voice of Vietnam (VOV) is working to expand its international media cooperation following strategic discussions with France Médias Monde (FMM).

A VOV delegation led by Vice President Ngo Minh Hien met FMM Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer Marie-Christine Saragosse in Paris on 27 July 2026. The discussions focused on digital transformation, international journalism and closer professional cooperation between the two organisations.

VOV and FMM explored opportunities in staff training, radio content exchange, cultural promotion and multi-platform journalism. They also discussed strategies for international content distribution, audience development and closer integration between traditional radio and digital platforms.

During the visit, the VOV delegation observed operations at the newsrooms of Radio France Internationale and France 24. It also exchanged expertise with journalists and technical teams on newsroom infrastructure, modern news production and coordination across broadcast and digital services.

FMM expressed its readiness to assist VOV in accessing RFI’s French-language learning programmes, as well as French music and cultural content. These resources could help diversify VOV’s radio services and introduce more French culture to Vietnamese audiences.

The two organisations agreed to maintain regular communication and work towards signing a Memorandum of Understanding.

The partnership is expected to support VOV’s ongoing digital transformation, strengthen its international broadcasting capacity and help bring stories from Vietnam to wider global audiences.
